Ghelfi’s telescopic big tiles handling system is a range of equipment offering a complete, modular and effective solution to all professional contractors involved in moving and manipulating porcelain tiles and slabs, from medium to huge format.

The solution is cornerstoned on top quality suction cups mounted on extruded aluminum profile bars featuring telescopic sliding capabilities, granting quick and precise adaptatability to each tile’s specific size.

Our top quality, italian-manufactured suction cups guarantee maximum grip stability and duration. An integrated pump device is used to generate and re-generate vacuum, and an easy-read gauge allows for continuous seal control along all processing stages. A degree of tilting room is granted to suction cups while hooked to their telescopic bars, which greatly facilitates operations in the slab application phase. Suction cups quantity and position, together with holding bars size and configuration, result in safe handling of tiles and slabs up to 3 x 2 mt and more.

Great product range modularity offers professionals acquisition progressiveness and investment protection over time. A single-bar two-cup system, inexpensive while already ideal for medium size tiles, can be upgrade at any time into a dual-bar, dual-traverse 8-cup (and more!) wider configuration supporting the most demanding slabs, by simply adding needed components.

Extra fall-arrest safety hooks can be installed at the end of the bars, and easily adjusted according to the relevant slab size. Their purpose is offering a further level of security against potential sudden vacuum failure at the suction cups level.

General ergonomics is further enhanced by equipping main holding bars with shaped gum handles (bundled for free on selected standard configurations, otherwise separately available). When dealing with heavier slabs a full team of 4 people may be required, and that’s when an extra optional handle may be installed at the tip of each main bar to facilitate.
