SINGLE BACK-PANEL HOT WIRE CUTTERS - spec sheet (ENG)Description
Dedicated to insulation professionals, it is the ideal tool for cutting EPS/XPS panels to size during insulation coat installation. It allows for quick, accurate and cost effective operations in any type of environment or building site.
It works on commonly available materials: EPS, polystyrene / polyurethane foam and extruded polystyrene.
The machine carries out straight cuts, variable angle and partial cuts with the same ease. No crumble dispersion, waste reduction, pollution is drastically reduced.
The cut precision obtained by a long hot wire produces perfectly fitting panels: avoid “thermal bridges” between panels, as required by the law.
Panels fit together perfectly
1. skew cut (on all sides), 2. straight cut, 3. step cut
Work anywhere you need, with the same ease: on the ground against a wall, or – with the help of optional accessories – on the ground far from a wall, or safely anchored onto a scaffold tube.
The machine operates at low voltage (36V). A powerful 250W – 220V electrical supply / transformer is included in the standard configuration.
Easy to fold and unfold. A single user can make it ready for use in just 4 moves, and less than 1 minute. Even on scaffolding. The all-aluminum frame weighs in at less than 20Kg.
The cutting bow is fully removable, and can be used free-hand on large panels, or in difficult areas or positions.
The panel to be cut is positioned leaning onto a back-panel structure, supported by a graduated rail, which can additionally rotate to ease diagonal cuts on panel side / edge. An optional sliding side support profile can be added on the right side of the machine to further extend cut material backside support.
Machine operations are totally safe, fast and accurate. The switch located on the bow allows for wire heating exclusively at cut time – as required by regulations.
Our superior-quality thick wire, coupled with our high-power electrical supply, allows for the maximum possible productivity: no cool-off down time is required for the wire between one cut and the next one.
